It’s official – Eastbourne is the new Brighton

Or should that be the ‘old’ Brighton?

A new adaptation of Graham Greene’s novel, Brighton Rock, is being filmed in Eastbourne. (Admittedly some scenes are being filmed in Brighton too.)

The new film sees the action moved to the 1960s rather than the 1930s, and will star Helen Mirren and John Hurt.
